Companies partner to create marketing peer groups
Updated: Monday, November 30th, 2009
Do IT Smarter and Transformation Strategies have announced they will partner to create marketing peer groups to help marketers build their business careers.
Transformation strategies will provide access and resources to Do IT Smarter's MSP channel partners to create an executive peer forum for marketing professionals.
Members of the managed service provider's channel partner program already receive help converting their existing customers and closing deals with new clients.
However, many of these individuals required additional assistance to find new leads and build their businesses.
Through the partnership, the two companies aim to help group members increase the effectiveness of their marketing initiatives.
David S. Schafran, president of Transformation Strategies, said the peer groups will help individual members grow their businesses as "each participant brings their own unique perspective to the group, and a larger vision begins to take shape."
Such career building opportunities may be more accessible to individuals who have completed associates, bachelors or masters programs in business.
Job prospects for marketing managers, whose median annual earnings were $98,720 in May 2006, are expected to grow by 12 percent over the next seven years.
