Updated: Thursday, October 1st, 2009
The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University has announced that it will offer Upwardly Mobile's (UpMo) new MBAs in Transition (MINT) program to students and alumni of its MBA program.
The business school has been named UpMo's educational partner in the launch of its new product and will receive a six-month trial of the program.
MINT is intended to help MBA students and recent graduates find jobs through personalized analytical and matching services. The service assesses a jobseeker's likelihood of finding employment in 90 days and offers suggestions to increase the chances of landing a job.
The program then uses this evaluation to lead professionals to career opportunities that best match their qualifications.
Using such tools to provide business students "with the most valuable and innovative resources" can help them "thrive in any job market and drive their continued success," said Linda A. Livingstone, dean of the Graziadio school.
Working adults wishing to accelerate their business careers may consider enrolling in MBA programs to increase their earning potential. PayScale.com, a research company, says that average salaries for holders of MBA degrees ranged from $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008, depending on the field, position and years of experience.
