The S P Jain Center of Management has announced that it will award scholarships and fellowships for English-speaking students planning to complete its Global MBA program.
Both the scholarships and fellowships will cover the program's $17,575 tuition costs. Fellows will receive an additional $16,115 to pay for accommodations and other costs associated with attending one of the schools campuses in Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore.
The top business school, which was ranked sixth on Asia Inc.'s list of Best MBA Schools in Asia, condenses the typical two-year business curriculum into a one-year program that includes 900 contact hours. Students can choose from 10 specializations, but all programs are intended to hone the skills necessary to conduct international business.
The scholarship and fellowship programs are intended to attract a more diverse and talented student body to the business school, as candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, a GMAT score of 650 or higher as well as demonstrable community involvement, leadership ability and global awareness.
Native English speakers who wish to increase their career potential may consider enrolling in associates or bachelors programs in international business to prepare them for similarly intensive MBA programs.
