Top business school to launch Fast Track MBA program

Babson College has announced the launch of a its Fast Track San Francisco MBA program, which is designed to help professionals gain higher education without falling behind their business career commitments.
The Wellesley, Massachusetts-based school developed the part-time blended learning program for San Francisco residents wishing to enhance their qualifications while continuing to work.
Over the course of 24 months, students in the program will take online classes and meet every six weeks at the Mission Bay Conference Center to collaborate with fellow classmates on their coursework.
Curriculum will include business foundation classes, general business electives as well as Capstone and Action Learning projects.
The program, which already exists in other cities nationwide, is intended for professionals who have an average of 14 years of experience.
Alison Dunby, a graduate of the Portland sector of the Fast Track program, said the "online component helped [her] guide progress
and accommodated a full business travel schedule."
Similar associates or bachelors programs in business are also available to working age students to prepare them for similar accelerated MBA programs.
Professionals who held MBA degrees earned between $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008, depending on the field, position and years of experience, according to PayScale.com.
