G.I. Jobs releases list of military-friendly colleges and universities

Veterans who are planning to apply to business schools may be interested in the newly published list of institutions that make it a priority to admit people with a military background.
Since the Post-9/11 GI Bill is now in place, G.I. Jobs, a veteran-owned business headquartered in Pittsburgh, has put together the 2010 list of Military Friendly Schools. It includes the top 15 percent of state and private institutions as well as community colleges and trade schools which make a special effort to recruit veterans.
Rich McCormack, G.I. Jobs publisher, explains this kind of information is crucial at the time when the Post-9/11 GI Bill provides unlimited financial means for veterans to go to school.
"Veterans can now enroll in any school, provided they're academically qualified. So schools are clamoring for them like never before," he stresses.
An MBA degree from a top business school may open doors to a rewarding career in a variety of fields.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for financial analysts will grow by 34 percent annually by 2016, while job growth for business analysts can expect a 22 percent increase during that same period.
Top salaries for financial analysts and business analysts exceed $130,000 and $128,330, respectively.
